چکیده
A novel integrated multi-physics assessment of the piston top compression ring an internal combustion engine under normal operation mode, as well subjected to cylinder deactivation is carried out. The methodology comprises ring-liner thermo-mixed hydrodynamics, elastodynamics ring, gas blow-by and emissions. Therefore, analysis provides prediction contact’s energy losses power leakage across crevices, resulting Cylinder (CDA) technology reduces unburnt fuel entering ring-pack It also shown that frictional are exacerbated CDA by much 20%. Although this lower than potential gains in usage when using CDA. optimisation would provide further efficiency improved emissions, issue which has not hitherto received attention it deserves. in-depth predicted CO, NOx HC emissions nearly 8.5%, 10% 8.7%, respectively.

متن کاملEffect of Injection Characteristics on Emissions and Combustion of a Gasoline Fuelled Partially-premixed Compression Ignition Engine
Conventional compression ignition (CI) engines are known for their high thermal efficiency compared to spark ignited (SI) engines. Gasoline because of its higher ignition delay has much lower soot emission in comparison with diesel fuel. Using double injection strategy reduces the maximum heat release rate that leads to NOx emission reduction. In this paper, a numerical study of a gasoline fuel...
